The Samaya host a dinner for the orphans of Bali Kids

Ray Clark the manager of The Samaya in Seminyak Bali was kind enough to host a dinner for the orphans from Bali Kids on Monday 10 July at the resort.

Carry for Kids www.carryforkids.org opened an orphanage in Bali two years ago and a mobile clinic to assist the orphans of Bali with medical needs. We have called this project Bali Kids. We currently have 17 children in our orphanage ranging from 5 to 16 years. We also visit the orphanages around Bali on a regular basis and see at least 450 children each month. We also have the sick children pre and post hospital come and stay with us until they are well enough to return to the orphanages.

The evening at Samaya was a wonderful esperience for the children. Many of the staff from Samaya were in attendance during dinner. They all made the children feel very welcome. It was such a joy to see the children having so much fun. They were all beautifully behaved and I was very proud of them. It is rare that they get to eat out of the orphanage and they just loved the food. There were each presented with a book from the sales team at Samaya and a special gift parcel to take back to the orphanage.

Ray and his team were so very generous to do this for the children. The Villas are just magnificent. People in the industry will know them as the Santika Villas. They have recently been completely refurbished and renamed. In my opinion they are some of the most beautiful villas in Bali, a location on the beach adds to the beauty. They are situated next to La Luciola restaurant, always very popular with Australian travelers.
